Hi, Kim here the creative mind behind The Giddy Giraffe. I hope you enjoy browsing some of our truly unique and individually hand painted designs.
The Giddy Giraffe has grown rapidly since its conception at our small dining table in 2005. We now operate from superb premises in Albany, a factory and showroom. Please feel free to pop in anytime. We are a working warehouse so the kids find this particularly interesting. We're also opposite Chipmunks so you can combine vists.
Our showroom displays all our poducts with all the colour options available. Please feel free to bring with you any fabric samples or ideas you have for design, your ideas are our reality!
MEET THE TEAM
Myself (Kim), mum to Kate (5) and "Pink" (1). I am the General Manager with focus on new design. Tina, mum to Jeshua (5) is our Operations Manager. Rebecca is our Creative Designer. Wynand is our Operations Assistant and the only male member of our team (poor guy)! My husband (Hayden) is a Finance and Marketing whizz, which is very lucky for us.

ABOUT OUR FURNITURE
All Giddy Giraffe furniture is made from quality NZ mdf by a professional furniture manufacturer. It is of a durable and solid construction hard wearing, long lasting and robust.
We use only top quality eco-friendly paints from Resene which is safe for all the family. 3 coats are applied to give a quality, hard wearing semi gloss finish.
The drawer knob and motif detailing on the furntiture is completely unique as they are all hand painted. No two are the same. We add that personal touch to everything we do, something we pride ourselves on.
Most of our furniture comes in 2 ranges, the "Standard" and the "Classic", The main differences are:
Classic: = Easy glide metal runners
= Safety stops on the drawers
= Tongue & Groove and scallop base finishes available
= The bookshelves have adjustable shelves
Standard: = Functional plastic runners, no plastic stops
= Straight edge finish only
= Priced attractively for the budget conscious
