Freight & Delivery:
Question: How does furniture delivery work ? Answer: We use an antique and fragile freight specialist who pride themselves on taking the utmost care with all of our customers products. Our freight company will contact you prior to delivery to arrange a convenient time for drop off. Please allow up to 4 weeks for furniture completion and delivery and 2 weeks for drawer knobs and artwork. Question: Can I pick up my order instead of having it delivered ? Answer: Absolutely, you are very welcome to pick up from our premises in Albany. Please call us on 09 479 5281 to organise a suitable pick up time. Please note that our furniture is solidly constructed and some items weigh 70kg +, for this reason customers will be required to bring at least 2 people to assist with the loading. Paint: Question: What kind of paint do you use on your products ? Answer: We use Resense waterbased enamel paints on all of our products. These are low odour, eco-friendly paints which are child safe. Drawer Knobs: Question: Are your Drawer knobs sold individually or only in sets of 6 ? Answer: All Drawer knobs are sold individually so you are welcome to purchase as many or as little as you wish. Question: Which Drawer knob size should I order? Answer: Our knobs are pine and measure either 44mm or 55mm. The 44mm are best suited to drawers and side tables while the 55mm are best suited to wardrobes or for those who are wanting bigger bolder impact. Outlet Store: Question: Can I view your work before I buy ? Answer: Sure can, you are very welcome to visit our Outlet Store at 10 Arrenway Drive, Albany, North Shore City, Auckland. We have all of our products on display, throughout our 2 storey showroom. Please refer to the contact us section for opening hours. Furniture finish: Question: Is all of your Furniture hand painted ? Do I see brush marks ? Answer: The furniture is spray painted with industry standard equipment. We pre-sand and undercoat and then apply 2 topcoats to give the furniture a high quality semi-gloss finish. The intricate detailing on the drawer knobs and motifs are all handpainted so you may see a wiggly line or two which adds to the character. Question: Often you see hand painted as an original design and then it looks manufactured ? Answer: All drawer knobs, paintings and furniture motifs are hand painted. Every one is unique and yes there will be slight variations in each design giving it a personalised touch. Customised / Personalised orders: Question: Can you custom paint to match the fabric of my room ? Answer: Most certainly, we pride ourselves on our customisation service.
